    another mod_rewrite help Question :-$

Hahaha. Sorry to post it but I just cant figure out what I'm doing wrong.

The apache docs on mod_rewrite are kinda hard to follow so I hope someone can help.

I have a file in the root directory mysite .com/user3.php?cat=categoryname

I want it so that the category name is rewritten to

    mysite .com/resources/categoryname.html

    I tried the following:
    PHP Code:
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteRule
    ^/resources/?$ /user3.php?cat=$[QSA,L
Again I tried to follow the guide but I am pretty lost.

    Maybe this:

    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteRule ^/resources/?$.html /user3.php?cat=$1 [QSA,L]

since you are not acutally copying the extension..

    Peace,
    Testing 1.. Testing 1..2.. Testing 1..2..3...
