I've been with reseller-center.com for about a year now, but their constant network outages, server failures in the middle of the day, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, are ruining my business and mental health already so I'm looking for a good, reliable alternative.
Any suggestions on a good, reliable host offering ColdFusion MX, ASP.NET, PHP, MySQL and MS SQL 2000?
Any advice and/or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, but I've heard nothing but bad things about Vortech/Matrix and I think they're also in the same datacenter as Reseller Center (hosted by Atlantic.NET who are under DDoS all the time) and that's exactly what I'm trying to run away from.
They (DIY Hosting) are excellent except the fact that they offer very little ColdFusion seats in their plans and I have quite a few ColdFusion customers but going to their Enterprise plan just to have enough ColdFusion seats is going to be an overkill for me, especially since I won't even use half of the remaining resources at this point. Thanks for your reply though.
There are many reasons a company like DIY and many other excellent H-Sphere providers are not listed on that page.
"If you are interested in DataCenters or Dedicated Server providers that distribute and support H-Sphere"
Now, DIY actually falls into this category - but, there are MANY companies with large clusters providing H-Sphere Shared and Reseller Hosting that do not sell dedicated servers and do not sell H-Sphere licenses to dedicated server owners - as such, they will never appear on this page...

Their Cpanel servers suxs, but their Hspere accounts have been stable i must say.
Thats the reason we are droping CPanel. It just down right sucks and I hate to offer something that I hate to even pay for, no matter if we make money on it or not. I think giving the customer great service is best and H-Sphere just does it 1000x better.
It sounds like most of your accounts are on a Windows Cold Fusion platform.
You should maybe look for a company that has stronger support for the Cold Fusion platform.
When looking for a ColdFusion host you need to consider other factors that will be important to you as you develop applications.
What version of ColdFusion are they running?[*]Do they allow for custom tags, is there a library of already installed tags?[*]What is their knowledge of Cold Fusion hosting & development?[*]Does Cold Fusion restart itself if it hangs?[*]What types of database connections do you get - MySQL, MSSQL, Access, PostgreSQL?[*]How do you make ODBC connections and do they offer JDBC connections.[*]Do they charge extra for ColdFusion web sites?[/list]

We are not in the same DC as reseller-center, they are no where close to us in size. We buy all our bandwidth from the providers and only use about 5% total of over 3gig of bandwidth. We really don't have DDOS issues unless it they happen to try and hit one server. Trying to take down our network before we or snort picks it up would be a bit hard.
Not sure what "bad" things you have heard, care to PM me, maybe I can set the record right for yea. I am very honest everyone will tell yea that.
