    Beware Latest cPanel Release

I would suggest NOT upgrading to the latest cPanel release. I upgraded one of our boxes yesterday and today saw SEVERAL defunct processes and about 80% of swap being taken up (memory leak anyone?). I then rolled back to stable and the box was back to normal. Just an FYI for everyone.

It would be helpful to let us know which OS you are running. It may not effect them all.

I run the latest edges exclusively and have been using the 10.2.0+ releases since they were built into the edge tree.

    I've noticed no memory leaks.

What exactly was / is the problem ? Did you submit a bug report ? What processes were at play here ? Though i've not got any bsd boxes, i've not seen a single issue such as this with any of our linux edge current release or stable boxes.

Sure you may have had a problem, but telling others not to update without providing any further information is pretty much useless and unbelieveable. It'd be very helpfull if you could post more information ( especially your bugzilla report ) as perhaps some of us may be able to lend a hand or give some idea's ?

We haven't noticed any memory leaks, although on some of our Linux servers we have had convertemails problems, but that was resolved fairly quickly.

No problems reported here either. Maybe it is a coincidence?

Hehe.. I guess I have developed a sig blindness, I hardly see them any more. It would be helpful if he said which version of freebsd he is running and which release of cpanel.
