Just an FYI to anyone else reading this thread--Plesk has an httpdocs [like public_html] and httpsdocs folder. Both are separate. You put normal pages in the former, and secured pages in the latter. It's really very simple.

I ordered a SSL certificate last night and finally got it just now. I am ready to install it on the server and start testing.
They put my through a crazy verification process. First they emailed me through my domain name registration in whois, then I had to click a link and put in a special code from the email. Then their system automatically called me, and I had to have my voice recorded plus i had to put in a special code, then they email me an approval again through the whois email address. Then because my company name is the same as my domain name their system flagged me for a manual verification. It took a little less than 24 hours but I got it.
Now its on to start testing. My website with packages is almost complete. I am going to get an enon account, and either purchase modernbill or whmautopilot, then I will finally be live.
I will let you all know how the https worked out, it seems simple enough!!
When you were generated the CSR, what did you put it? It looks to me you typed in ihostking(dot)com www(dot)ihostking(dot)com. It's not really a problem but you probably preffered www(dot)ihostking(dot)com. Maybe you could contact your vendor to change it?
I wanted to post an update to my setting up https pages and secure webpages.
It works. To make it work, I had to get a dedicated IP address which I did. I then ordered a Starter SSL certificate for $14.95 per year. Had a technical set-back because it was installed wrong in my server.
This is really cool. I am securing my ordering system, contact system, and using it as a big selling feature. I am also only accessing my cpanel and whm through the secure url as well to prevent prying eyes with password sniffers to somehow steal my passwords and usernames.
