How to set up https pages?

I know this may be an idiot question but I am ignorant on this subject so I need to ask.

I have a reseller account. I want to have certain pages encrypted and secure for my users.

I know I need to purchase and install a ssl certifcate for my site. Once that is done, how do I actually set up the webpages to use https instead of http.

    thanks for your help!

It depends on your control panel. The site you are trying to make https must have its own ip as well.

You can use mod_rewrite to force users to the https protocal or you can change the links to the pages you want secured from http://www.ihostking.com to https://www.ihostking.com (for example)
