    You will get a full duplex, non-overbooked, dedicated Flatfee port (5 / 10 / 20 Mbps).

    Wow great price. Just one question, I thought Euro bandwidth are quite expensive, how can you offer for such amount at that price?

    Thanks

    Can you do software Raid-1 on 2 HDs? What will be the installation charge?

    How do we signup for a $59 server?
    On your web site prices are much higher.

    Also, are we able to specify what partitions we want for freeBSD installation?

    Thank you.

    Your network with 15 or 16Gbps ? I think (from your site) that is 15Gbps

    Are you planning to add more providers? or some gige to one of them you have right now?

    You have 4 Datacenters right? I can choose the datacenter i want?

    About IPs! Cost? if we need c-class or half c-class the price?

    Thanks

    1. 16Gbps. More uplinks will be added when technically necessary.
    2. These servers will be placed in SBP as this is our main datacenter. Others can be used for colocation.
    3. Extra IP's are Euro1/IP/mth. Must be according RIPE guidelines.

    Hi,

    What's the cost if we want to upgrade to 100mbps uplink? Amount of bandwidth usage would still be same.

    These are Flatfee (unmetered) servers. If you want to be charged based on datatraffic, please have a look at our other specials or our website.

    Id think twice about buying from these. My server has only been up for 1 week and it has been down for over 3 days.

    They never answer the customer service phone and dont answer my emails!!!

    Beware of very poor customer services!

    My server is still down as i write, after lots of emails!!

    :-(

    Wow, nice warning.

    Let me guess...
    So they offer servers without any support.
    That explain why machines are so cheap..

    This is not correct.
    Servers are unmanaged. I already asked "rifitintaken" to send me his server ID + support tickets, so I can have a look at this issue.

    Amazing what abit of public complaining does!
    Why does no-one answer the phone?? Are you open like 2 hours aday or something?

    My server name is JAC001.
    If you check your email you will find my latest request to try and solve the problems to get my server back online. It remains unanswered after several phone calls too!
    And to top it all off you try and bill me twice saying i havent paid, when i paid the week before by paypal.

    Come on guys sort it out

    If you want unmanaged servers they are the best in Europe!

    You will not found prices lower than that. And a very good and stable network with great pings in europe.

    I dont have server with them, my friend has and i have test it.

    rifitintaken: i think that they have managed servers with some money more (100% if i am not wrong). You could get that. People know how to control the server and managed it alone have no problem with them. Its not good to speak like that. THey have too many costumers and you are only one of them (and possible some more). All others are OK with them. I Would suggest to give them a try!

    Good offers again Leaseweb

    PS: Waiting for the CISCO Guard

  27. #27
    I dont want a managed server ! Yes leaseweb do have good offers and i was very pleased with my server.

    BUT

    All id like is to be able to either speak to someone on the phone or have my emails answered, thats all !

    And so far this is proving very difficult after days of no replys.
    Yet 10 mins after i post a compliant here i get some answers.

    Hopefully my issues can be resolved asap.

    Thanks

    At least get the facts straight.

    Your last support request is from "Fri May 06 19:07:05 2005". In this ticket you admit that you cannot login anymore, whilst you could have before. Again; these are unmanaged servers. If you want us to do it, that's fine. But this is being charged for and done according Best Effort; if you want guarenteed reaction times, take a SLA.

    Your request -> Our reply

    Mon Apr 25 01:15:26 2005 -> Mon Apr 25 16:01:41 2005
    Mon Apr 25 19:18:58 2005 -> Tue Apr 26 09:01:51 2005
    Tue Apr 26 15:49:56 2005 -> Wed Apr 27 08:36:22 2005
    Wed Apr 27 10:07:51 2005 -> Wed Apr 27 10:12:12 2005
    Wed Apr 27 10:27:44 2005 -> Wed Apr 27 12:00:00 2005
    Mon May 02 23:14:02 2005 -> Tue May 03 23:58:55 2005
    Wed May 04 00:26:10 2005 -> Fri May 06 15:23:18 2005
    Fri May 06 19:07:05 2005 -> Open

    I'd say on the avarge that's pretty good and quick support.

    The server was rebooted before by our techs. Someting that can be done by you yourself via the Free APC port.

    Leaseweb, I myself posted that they work on this server on Monday

    "Leaseweb.. I did mail my tickets to [email protected] and after 5 mails they respond saying they will do on Monday.Do you expect your customers to wait for 3 days to get the problem solved?"

    But my Question was on "Best effort" will it take 3 days, In fact the tickect was made on Thurday night itself..

    They replied only after id posted a compliant here.

    Also i never asked for a reboot to be done. The way ive configured my server means I have to remount drives after a reboot which is why i do them remotely.

    Someone at leaseweb rebooted my server which resulted in a kernal error. Then after another reboot i tried to access my root and the pass had changed.

    This is my current problem i cannot access root to remount my drives. Yet i have not changed my pass.

    Ive contacted support about this and theyve said they to reinstall the OS they can do it on Monday but i will be charged 99Euros.

    Why couldnt it be done on friday when i first emailled support?

  36. #36
    Hi Please inform support to check there emails.

    Ive found a solution to my problem and have emailed it to them.
    It requires resetting the root password through the box console.

    Thanks

    Both issues resolved by support.

    Server 1 has had password reset.
    Server 2 hardware was swapped although no hw faults could be detected.
