Apples solution is: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/broadcaster/
Windows is: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...r/default.aspx

They should all support streaming audio but if you just want streaming audio then those solutions might be a bit much, try:
http://www.shoutcast.com/
There should be loads of documentation on this and its fairly popular and from what I know easy to set up.

Also shoutcast may be easy to set up but it will not really be live streaming audio on your web-page, although if you don’t mind that then so be it.
However if you do go with something like windows media encoder just always set the quality to be low. And the windows media encoder wizard for setup is fairly good so there should not be too many problems.

I visited shoutcast, but unfortunatelly live streaming is a must to me.
Anyway, I'm still trying to find out more about dcamserver!!

Maybe its best if you don’t try and find out more about dcamserver, just visted my friends site and it can only do streaming video, been told dcam will not support audio.
