So I have a cardservice intl merchant account with Authorize.net

does anyone know how hard it is to get Amex and Discover ??

or the application is pretty straight forward?

It's quite simple.
Just apply directly with Amex and Discover.

In fact I think AmEx promises to make it in what? Three days I think?

You're lucky to be in USA. In many countries AmEx doesnt have e-acquiring at all.

It's pretty straight forward, you can indicate to your ISO agent, or processing provider that you want to be able to except AMEX and Discover. They will forward you a one or two page application form for you to fill out and email or fax back to them. In a day or two they should be able to let you know if you where approved or not.
