Hi:
Lets say I have a dedicated server hosting 5 sites, one of them on a dedicated IP. Can someone find out what other sites are hosted on the same server through that domain/IP?

I realize that for domains that share the same IP, anyone can do a reverse lookup and easily see what other sites are hosted along with it (ie: via http://www.whois.sc/). With a dedicated IP, I gather that makes it impossible?

Not impossible, as whois.sc will still be able to pull up any domains that share THAT ip, but if that's the only domain on the ip, then it's all good

Of course, checking neighbouring IPs is neither difficult nor to be unexpected. The reliability of the information gathered can then be increased by scanning ports, comparing versions, etc. But for the average joe, it's not directly available.
