    is there any particular reason for that?

    i would image that there's something wrong with your server's dns settings.

    There might be surely some thing going wrong in the DNS settings for your domain. Have you tried this from multiple locations. What is the result.

    Try the online DNS analysis tools as well, some of those may uncover faults in your settings.
