    Question Nameserver NS - Setup For win and Linux box

    Windows Box 1
    DNS - Simple DNS

    xxx.xxx.xxx.100 ns1.mydomain.com
    xxx.xxx.xxx.101 ns2.mydomain.com


    Linux Box 2
    DNS - Bind 9.2.3-13

    xxx.xxx.xxx.102 ns3.mydomain.com
    xxx.xxx.xxx.103 ns4.mydomain.com

    Is this Right Setup ??

    It is risky, though... ideally you should use sep. machines with identical records for hosting dns. Stable DNS servers arek vital toward maintaining uptime. It would work of course, for now...
