    TMP deleted


    i have follow this tutorial to secure my TMP directory but after that i have follow all the steps i have a tmp directory inside the tmp direcotry so i have delete it but i have lost both TMP folder

    what can i do now? my box is still empty, i need to install again Cpanel?

    these are the files that i had:

    You should be fine, it doesn't look like any of those files are needed. Typically nothing in /tmp is needed in the long run, so if you loose it its no huge deal. Specially if you dont have any accounts on it.

    Just re-create the directory, and if you need to, the symlink to the mysql socket.

    Set 777-rights on it, and also o+t is typically used on /tmp

    the only thing that's necessary in the /tmp partition to start off with is the mysql.sock symlink.
