    named error?

    Has any one seen this cause I cnan ot find a answer on google about it.

    I saw this last week so I updated named but it is still happening. Any insite would be greatly appreciated. the o/s is fedora core 2 running cPanel 10 something.

    This doesnt sound to me like a bind problem, but a network problem.

    Yes and no I agree with you partially. There has to be something in that packet that is killing named. Not sure if there is a new exploit out or soemthing but something in that tcp packet named is not liking.

    sometimes the packet will be to small or fragment before it can get to your server and you can get that message
