I'm just setting up a plesk server. I finished domain.net and it is resolving and displaying normally, but when I add domain.com with the same IP, it is always the Plesk Default Page is being displayed.
I already checked the apache config and all the includes, removed the default index.html in the vhost/domain/httpdocs directory, the DNS entries are correct, I even checked it on DNS Report. I also checked the forums of Swsoft and found several of them have the same problem and tried one of the solutions, but to no avail..
I also preview the domain and it is displaying perfectly, then I also changed the default domain of the IP, and try checking via ip : http://xx.xx.xx.xx/ and it is also displaying properly... the only problem is via domain.com or www.domain.com
domain.com works fine but www.domain.com shows the Plesk Default Page. Super strange. I tried starting and stopping plesk and that didn't work. @ and www are "A" records pointing to the same IP and the nameservers are working properly. The httpd.conf file looks fine to me.
I am going nuts here. I set up the domain like I setup all other domains that are working fine on the box.
there is an option to enable/disable "www" for your domain. have you checked that? www.yourdomain.com available in the zone records?
Thanks for the reply.
Yeah, that is the thing that is drivign me nuts. It is checked... DNS is set correctly and the domain has propogated which is adding to the confusion. entries for "@" and "www" are pointing to the correct IP and correct IP is setup in Plesk.
/etc/init.d/psa stopall (then started it back up)
I think I need to sleep on this one. I have to be missing something super simple.
