Ive been using ns1.ev1servers.net and ns2.ev1servers.net as my name servers untill now, but due to some problems i decided to setup my own nameservers.
I have registered ns1.on5.com and ns2.on5.com with my registrar and i have pointed the on5.com to ns1.on5.com and ns2.on5.com. I set the ns1.on5.com as primary and ns2.on5.com in Edit Setup in WHM and restarted Bind and it doesnt work.
I asked about this at WHTIRC and someone said that my Bind wasnt running? Well according to WHM it says it is running, but Im not sure if its true (SSH says its up as well).
The confusing part is that the other domains on the server which still point to ev1 nameservers work (examples in my sig).
When I login to whm it always says "Hostname A Entry missing"
The server was unable to lookup an an A entry for its hostname (srv01.on5.com). This is generally because the entry was never added. However this could also be the result of your nameserver(s) being down. If you would like to attempt to automaticlly add the entry,
I click the button to add it
Found your hostname to be: srv01.on5.com
Found your short hostname to be: srv01
Found your domain name to be: on5.com
Found your main ip to be: 126.96.36.199
If this looks correct,
IP=188.8.131.52 Bind reloading on srv01 using rndc zone: [on5.com] Error reloading bind on srv01: rndc: connection to remote host closed This may indicate that the remote server is using an older version of the command protocol, this host is not authorized to connect, or the key is invalid. Add Complete
1. You did almost everything correctly but you also must add on5.com zone to your named (both nameservers can be on the box and the same ip)
2. setup A records for ns1 and ns2.on5.com in on5.com zone
3. check named.conf if it loads rndc.key file and rndc.conf if it loads the same file or has the same key (key name and value). I think you have problem in it.
Then use /etc/init.d/named reload
It should works now well.

OKIHost spent hours helping me resolving this, and he did fix it as well as do some other fixes on my server. I gotta admit that I am very happy that there are people like him in this world that spend hours helping others
Thanks a lot again Paul!
I am not sure about this, but I think the problem was that the firewall was blocking it.
