    "PayPal Host" would this name pose any threat if i had to name a webhosting company? stupid question?

    They most likely have the name trademarked so you would be in some legal hot water if you did try that.

    What are some methods to find out about "trademark infringement" for your website? Is there an organized source for trademarked names, other than just searching the web?

    There was previously a hosting co. named Hosting-Paypal. Due to the trademark, they were forced to change their name. If you're wondering, they're now call Hosting-PP.

    i was thinking of the exact same thing then changed
    my mind after thinking "nah id possibly get sued"

    im sure this site doesnt exist anymore for same reason

    I hate to be negative, but don't even think about it. Even if you had a case, you would need $10's-$100,000 to fight this. Even if you could afford this, you'd most probably lose.
