    Question Offshore Bank Account

    Hello,

Can anyone suggest a solid and reasonable offshore bank account for an IBC (international business company)? Prefer the Isle of Man as the desitination and contacted HSBC but they only offer personal accounts. Barclays seems ok, but if anyone has one or experience, can you share the info?

Ideally, would like all the bells and whistles, ie:
    • Internet access
    • Debit ATM cards
    • Possibly multicurrency accounts

Also, am not interested in risky banks or unknown banks. Am sure you can understand why.

    Thank you.

Barclays would require at least 5000 gbp initial deposit, something similar will be in majority of Isle of Man banks.
Location is well regulated so there would no problems even if you would go for some smaller bank. May i aks why Isle of Man and where is your IBC incorporated?

I like the Isle of Man because it is centrally located in Europe and has a stable economy. Also their e-commerce and government policy encourages IBC. Furthermore, they are an advanced country with no or very little poverty and no natural disasters.

An excellent source of info and other offshore countries can be found at http://www.lowtax.net/lowtax/html/isleofman/jimgat.html

Have looked into rietumu bank, but would prefer something in the Isle of Man.

Latvian banks as well as that Estonian bank welcome IBC too.
Those countries are the part of EU already.
They don't have huge setup fee and don't have requirements for the minimal balance.
