Personally I always wait at least a day before calling a girl, I would suggest calling tomorrow. It's not in any way rude but makes it so you do not look desperate.

Glad to hear you had a good time and sorry bummer on the gag relex thing :/

To the first part, haha. Sounds like she has a good sense of humor.

To the second part, I'm surprised she even disclosed this on the first date -- at least it shows she was comfortable (as far as I know)

Phhhppbbt to the whole waiting a day - call whenever you're comfortable.

My husband and I had our first date on a Sunday and the very next day in school he came up to me and told me what a great time he'd had the night before.

    Worked for me

id be moer concerned about the gag reflex thing than the timing of calling her back.

    call her.

then take her to a doctor and get her fixed.

lol, Thanks for answering that question. I would hate to be banned so early in my membership.

Just an update, she called me this afternoon to thank me for the "wonderful evening". I said that I enjoyed our time together also, and that I would give her a call soon.

    Take care everyone...

One of these days, when you fall in love, get married and make lots of babies (well-fed babies, by your description), you'll have to dig up this thread and show it to her so she can see what was happening in your world on the first day of the rest of your life and how much fun we've all had at your expense

WHT -- the new blog system (except comments range from a gag reflex to what to do when you first see her, and everything in between! )

I agree, except the part about the babies, since I already have three (7, 9 and 12) that are my pride and joy.

I got married when I was 18 and enjoyed 19 years of commitment. Since I have not dated as an adult I find all of this stuff both entertaining and sometime frightening.
