Wicked deal on deal Dell laptops

Been looking around for a laptop lately. Almost bought one from Circuit City last night, luckily I didn't since found this deal at gottadeal.com. Just had to pick up one of those Inspiron 6000's. Save $750 on $1,499 laptop.

Beginning Friday morning at 8:00am Central, save $750 on select Inspiron notebook purchases of $1499 or more with coupon code 546TJ5FSDR6D38. This Coupon code is valid on these three E-Value codes only: 11111-i6000A2, 11111-i6000A3, and 11111-i600mA2. These E-Value codes are for select Inspiron 8600 and 6000 configurations as seen here. This is a limited quantity offer, with only 6,000 systems available for purchase with this coupon code. This offer will expire at 5:59am CDT on 4/26/05 or when the limited quantity available are sold, whichever comes first. Don't like either of those configurations? There will also be a $750 off $1899 coupon for any other laptop.

Dell's been doing this for a while. I'd been kind of hanging back waiting for the right timing. Last week they had a 34% coupon that worked out to be about $750 off. This is a good deal no matter how you slice it. I got the Inspiron 6000 with the 1920x1080 UXGA screen, 128 MB high performance video, 8x DVD +/-, and 2 GHz centrino processor. It came in the mail on Wednesday and I LOVE IT.

If you want to sweeten the deal then go to http://www.fatwallet.com and sign up as a user. They are a large deals site that companies offer cash back rewards to. In Dell's case if you click through to Dell through the Fatwallet store then you get 3% back on your purchase (Dell sends it to Fatwallet in a few months and you draw it out using Paypal). In addition to my $750 off, I got another $45 back.

I knew Dell had been running some good deals. I hadn't seen anything like this one though. I can't wait for mine to come in

Dude, you'll love your Inspiron 6000. The screen is so nice. I had an Inspiron 1100 prior to this that I paid about $500 for in a sweet deal.

BTW, I bought this always on case:

Based on some user recommendations on a notebook review forum. It should be coming in today.

There is a coupon that you apply at checkout. As long as your total is over $1899 you can apply a $750 coupon. See here:
