    Help PLEASE!

    My computer seems to have something wrong. For some reason I cant view certain text.

    I dont know why this is, and I can see WHT fine for right now.

    Well, I experience text as seen in the pictures that I provided. I only see that instead of regular English. And its only on some programs/websites

    You may be missing some fonts. Not sure though.. Check for the regular fonts for Windows such as Tohoma, Verdana, ETC.

    At this point it is extremely hard to give you a diagnosis. I am thinking it is either software corruption or video card, or perhaps monitor itself.

    Perhaps the first thing I would try is to lower my monitor resolution and refresh rates. If it is set to 32 bit lower it to 16 bit or even 256 and take the resolution back to 800x600 and see if that makes any difference.

    Wont do anything. He's missing a few fonts most likely, or a virus is eating away at them.

    the first site looks like neverside.net . The second is a screenshot from trillian.


    Looks like font corruption. Try reinstalling your windows font collection.

    Start->Run->type in "sfc /scannow" without quotes. Be sure to have your Win CD handy.
