1U and SCSI too much heat?
I got me a 1U SGI 1100, im going to dump the ide drives from it and i was looking at scsi options id like dual 15k but im curious do y ou think this willl create too much heat? gonna be a Dual P3.
That should be fine. P3's do not generate nearly as much heat as Xeons or normal P4's. Just make sure there is decent front to back cooling and you should be ok.
It shouln't be a problem, but also make sure were you putting your server and enough room.

A pair of Tualatins generate less heat than a single P4, so I'd not woryr too much.
