I was reading an article on the high possibility of him resigning in the Financial Times … so it would seem that he is going to resign.

This is good news. He's totally corrupt. I wonder if he can now be prosecuted for all his dodgy dealings?

according to the bbc hes resigning, but forming a new government...?

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/4464865.stm

He told the upper house of parliament that his government had a mandate to lead until 2006 and it would do so.

It would appear that i either slightly misread things, jumped the gun or both.

Here's an interesting stat for you though....since WW II Italy has seen 59 separate governments, which is nearly one every 12 months.

Hmm, i'm glad things aren't that unstable here but i guess it must work for them some how.

Be careful Critic … if the Liberal Democrats ever get into power then Britain would become as politically unstable as Italy. Thankfully both Labour and Conservatives wish to keep FPTP / SMDP. It’s only thanks to FPTP / SMDP that we’re not politically unstable.
