    Dont they install for you?

I recently ordered plesk for one of my Fedora boxes at Managed. They just sent me a '7 file' Plesk key.

Is it any additional fees for getting plesk up and running?

Been like 4 days but all sent was the key.

Dont the providers install it for you? Atleast for the first time?

Managed.com is unmanaged and I can see how their name can be deceptive. Some web host would install the Control Panel for you the first time around but they are not obligated to do so.

As long as they provide you with the right key, their job is over.

If they charge you a setup fees for your control panel then they would be obligated to set it up for you. If not, they would not need to do so.

But, they havent mentioned any Panel installation fee anywhere, so I presume its free.

Atleast, all other providers that I've used so far, installed control panels for free.
