avoiding blocked emails at rackspace?
I've been reading past threads about rackspace's tendency to be blacklisted, and as I am considering a managed server with them, I am a bit wary. I don't like the idea of being in a block of blacklisted IPs.
Ethical issues aside, however, I am wondering if this is even a problem because I have two email accounts anyway - one (which would be [email protected]) receives email, and the other ([email protected], for example) is the email I use to send with. My inbox is already set up this way by chance, really, and I *very* rarely will get a blocked email reply from emails I send on the latter email address.
So would a blacklisted IP still be able to *receive* emails reliably?
Thanks guys (and gals)!

Generally blacklisting doesn't have a huge impact on receiving emails.
Though it seems strange that you're both paying more than you have to for service and working around the flaws of their network because they willingly host spammers.
