    cPanel and Bandwidth

I have a question regarding bandwdith because stats are only updated once a day.

Lets say a user sign's up to a package with 40GB of bandwidth and they use 100GB
alone in that one day in a few hours.

Will the account show exceeded as bandwidth becuase it only update's daily?

As far as I know, that account will not be suspended or shown as exceeding bandwidth until the next day when cPanel logs are generated. Therefore, the customer may end up using 150GB when they only have 40GB
There are 3 kinds of people. People who can count and people who can't.

You can decrease "Number of days between processing log files and bandwidth usage" in tweak settings as I remember. Put in something like 0.1 instead of 1 and server would calculate bandwidth more frequently.

Yes, this is under Tweak Settings in WHM under Stats and Logs:

Number of days between processing log files and bandwidth usage Default = 1
