A question for all those web hosting gurus out there

How can I judge how much bandwidth I'd need? Is there any sort of scale to narrow down how much is used by the normal website? How do you figure it out?

From what I have heard (which I probably am wrong) is that 1 gigabyte of bandwidth is equal to 90,000 page views. I bet that if you have any downloads or video you will use more bandwidth.

You can try using some script to keep statistics on your site i recommend weblazier and keep the statistics there for 3-6 months that may work to get you an oguh average.

An average small web site, or a new web site shouldn't need more than 1-2GB of bandwidth per month.
