I believe the members of WHT or at least some of us. (including me) could debate absolutely anything, although I must admit the term "debate" is applied rather loosely, most times "argument" would more acurately describe the process.

A list of some of the things I like debated.

    America
    American Politics
    Americans at war
American Education or lack there of
American sense of humour or lack there of.
Why Australia is the best country inThe world.
Why Tasmania is the best part of Australia
Why Tasmanian men are the greatest lovers
Why a certain member should or shouldn't be banned.
Are Brazilain women really the best looking.

Have to agree here; at the risk of starting an argue- I mean a debate, it seems to me that there are certainly double standards when it comes to men vs women, but at the end of the day only those women who are insecure in their powers of femininity are the ones making the most noise over equal rights.

And yes, I AM a woman

Keeping on topic here, what would I consider debatable....

Pampers diapers vs Luvs - Why the more expensive diapers leak
Barney vs Mr Rogers - Who's a better role model?
Kermit vs Elmo - Better Sesame Street character?

(can you tell I have kids? LOL)

Hasn't that already been done? I thought people had stored anti-protons for several days inside electromagnetic traps.

    Equality.

Most people are saddly mistaken when they say we are all equal. People are often heard to say "we are all born equal" this is one of the most misleading statements I have ever heard. True in an ideal world we are born with equal rights Now this is totally different to say we are equal. No two people are equal, born in the same society they may enjoy the same legal rights as each other, provided their families are on the same economical and social scale hower they definately aren't equal, some people are far better at certain things than others, some have very little ability, whilst other may be very accomplished. I mean they may even be somebody with greater ability than me, although I have yet to meet that person.

So in conclusion equality isn't a good point to debate, people need to be educated as to what is meant by 'born equal"
