    What DNS-Information to provide here?

    Hello,

I'm considering to register a ccTLD. My first name is still available

When registering the domain I get asked for:
    Primary Host
    Secondary Host
    Primary Net
    Secondary Net

Is it ok to provide the 2 nameservers from my webhost?
Why do they ask for Primary/Secondary Host and Primary/Secondary Net?
    Where to write what

Thanx in advance for any helpful information........

If you're going to host your domain at your host's servers you have to submit those indeed..........

    Primary Net exampleserver.com
    Secondary Host ns2
    Secondary Net exampleserver.com

    secondary host: ns2.eampleserver.com
    2nd IP: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Thanx, Bashar So I will provide the IP in the Net field.

I just did a Google search and found at www.aspensites.com/howto.html

    Primary Name Server:
    Primary Host Name: NS.NETRAFIC.COM
    Primary Net Address: 216.147.109.77
    Secondary Name Server:
    Secondary Host Name: NS2.NETRAFIC.COM
    Secondary Net Address: 216.147.125.19

I haven't registered yet, only looked through the registration process so far. It takes one business day to get the domain activated and it's weekend, and I would like to get some opinions about their payment gateway (InternetSecure) first - already posted in the e-commerce forum

Nope, .mn has no special meaning for me, but the registration process seems to be rather simple for
an exotic domain name. Credit card payment via a secure Canadian payment gateway is possible.

I will think about it over the weekend. There are still a lot of cool and short domain names available

.cc .ws .tv .nu and .bz are already taken

Are your concerns based on the fact that the .mn domain is located in Mongolia or
do you know of some problems with the .mn domain? Feel free to pm me about it....

.vg .tc and .gs are still available, but they are almost double price with $85/year

.mn is "only" $45/year with a 2years' registration. But I'm not in a hurry with it

well because other ccTLDs u can register them with icann accredited registrars instead of going directly to the registry.

never tried them though, good luck

Should I finally decide to buy a .mn domain
I will tell you about my experiences with the
    registration process.

As there are still so many .mn domains available
I'm thinking about not to register my firstname
but a different short and cool domain name
