That's a tough one. Probably Pavement--Slanted and Enchanted. It was my favorite band in high school, and it's got a lot of good memories attached.

Hmm one cd, probably either the first cd of the Wall 2CD set or any of the Lynyrd Skynyrd greatest hits cds.

My best scratched audio CD to use as a reflective mirror to get off the island. Right now, that would be my mixed soundtrack CD.

You people do realise if it was a desert island, and you "crashed" your electronics would be ruined, hence, no way to listen to it. Even if they were completely toast, your batteries would be....

So I don't know why you would want to bring your best music... Since that CD will turn into a reflective mirror, a shovel, and possibly a heating implement.

And, FYI, a mp3 is a perfectly legit audio CD...

Sound track from Rocky Horror Picture show.

If I did have a second choice it would be Frankie Lane singing .Cool Water.

All day I've faced the barren waste,
    Without the taste of water:
    Cool water. (Water.)
Old Dan and I, with throats burned dry,
An' souls that cry for water: (Water.)
    Cool, (Water.)
    Clear, (Water.)
    Water. (Water.)

    Keep a-movin, Dan,
Don't you listen to him, Dan,
He's the devil, not a man:
Spreads the burning sand with water. (Water.)
Dan, can you see that big, green tree, (Water.)
Where the water's runnin' free? (Water.)
It's waitin' there for me and you? (Water.)

The nights are cool, I'm a fool.
Each star's a pool of water.
    Cool water. (Water.)
But with the dawn I'll wake and yawn,
And carry on to water. (Water.)
    Water, (Water.)
    Water, (Water.)
    Water, (Water.)

    Keep a-movin, Dan,
Don't you listen to him, Dan,
He's the devil, not a man:
Spreads the burning sand with water. (Water.)
Dan, can you see that big, green tree, (Water.)
Where the water's runnin' free? (Water.)
Waitin' there for me and you?

    Cool, (Water.)
    Clear, (Water.)
    Water. (Water.)

    Cool, (Water.)
    Clear, (Water.)
    Water. (Cool, clear, water.)
