    Hosting Guidance Please

    Sorry I don't mean to be offensive in any way to any one.

    But I cannot believe that I have sent several emails to hosting companies and I do not even recieve replies, I mean are these people asleep or is it the case they cannot offer good customer / sales support?

    I am looking for something like this:

    1500MB Disk Space
    40GB Bandwidth
    7 Hosted Domains
    unlimited sql
    Disk space 1500 MB
    Bandwidth 40 GB
    cpanel v10
    Fantastico Deluxe
    etc

    I would prefer not to keep sending out emails asking questions and them not being answered, well at least I known who not to deal with, any suggestion please?

    How long ago was it that you emailed them?

    I've been with site5 for almost about two months now, and they have excellent support.

    Did you specify how much you wanted to pay with your request?
    If you have to operate your company behind the scenes or under a fake name, maybe it's time to leave the industry and start something fresh.

    I'm guessing he meant 04/11/05....That's pretty slow.

    But, the other two companies, you sent the emails today, so you can wait up to 24 hours (since it's a pre-sales email) I'm sure their support responses are much quicker than this.

    You can always put use the host quote and hosting companies will contact you.

    I can talk for my experience,
    Pre-sales questions allways takes a longer delay than support questions, thats normal, it is harder to a hosting companie to have an insatisfied costumer, than having an eventual costumer insatisfied.

    Well i was a customer of Total Choice Hosting for 9 months and while my service with them didnt end well, i never suffered any downtime with them and their support for the most part was very active and resolute in fixing issues. I have my beef with them and its rightfully so. When i was doing presales with them i went to their forums, you can get alot answered their. Their reps are on the forums, aim messenger, email, phone during business hours, and by ticket. As far as nilling and sales tickets, from what i remember they were only responded to during regular business hours and days. Support was 24/7 though.

    Fantastico deluxe and unlimited sql you wont get with them on a shared host. If your looking to park or add on domains that i salso not allowed on shared only on resellers. Good luck.

    That's great if all you want is cheap space.

    If you are looking for good service and reliable uptime then cheap is not always the way to go.

    THe one I have personal experience with is Site5.
    I can only say that they have been excellent. My support requests have been handled swiftly, professionally, and in a friendly manner.

    I just would like to tell you that all support or request mails always get replied within houres (maximum).
    and we didn't got any mails from you.
    please make sure that you send to the right mail address or go directly and open a ticket.

    Bill, sorry if my memory fails me, but I really don't remember. Do you have first hand experience with Canaca?
