    RECYCLER FOLDER?? Virus...

    Hi,

I could really use some help on this...

My norton antivirus listed a file in my
    "RECYCLER" folder as having several
    "compressed" netski viruses?

So I went to delete the file reported as
having the viruses (it's the only
file in my RECYLCER folder), but got
an error message saying it can't be
deleted because it's in use by another
    program.

    So I have 2 questions...

    1. Are "compressed" viruses dangerous or
are they only dangerous if not compressed?

    2. How can I get rid of the file in my
    RECYCLER FOLDER?

    Thanks very much in advance!

The recycler folder is just your recycle bin.
All you have to do is empty your recycle bin.

    Hi,

The recycle bin is empty, that was the
    first thing I did.

The file in the RECYCLER folder remains,
and can't be deleted as described.

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks

Could be some sort of permissions issue.
Try deleting the files still present in the recycler folder with this program http://www.jrtwine.com/Products/DelFXPFiles/
