Can anyone recommend a good datacenter?
We've been using The Planet for the past few years and as everyone may know, they have been having issues lately. We are looking for an additional datacenter for our future servers.
Basically we're looking for a datacenter that can provide the following:
1) Phone Support
2) Remote Reboot
3) Outstanding Network
4) 99.9% Uptime Guarantee
Basically we're looking for a datacenter that we can depend on.
Please feel free to suggest the datacenter you use as we are looking to start putting up new servers ASAP.
Please note we are not looking to buy servers at EV1, TP Resellers, SM, or Managed.com.0

I'm currently looking into servers at the NAC datacenter, which is where I own a reseller (hosting reseller, not box reseller) through. The place I am looking into is 15minuteservers.com, from what I hear they are pretty good (from reviews I've read).
I can certainly tell you the quality of the reseller I have is nothing short of amazing.
On the flip side, I'm not sure if they have a 99.9% guarantee.██ Automated Tendencies - Brand Management Agency from Baltimore, Maryland.

Gnax no more offers hosting directly to customers.
See their resellers at
http://www.gnax.net/dedicatedservers/index.php
Tranxact Global is GNAX company / same people. I can recommend also Solidhost.0

Their order setup is just very poor. Very confusing in my opinion as it's all over the place.

Hurricane Electric's Fremont, CA facility is the best datacenter I've ever seen. Their phone support staff can field all sorts of questions and help requests. They also have premium Tier-1 bandwidth. After months of business with them, I've had absolutely no problems with their network or their staff.

Equnix is definitely at the top of it's class.
I've just always viewed it as in a completely different (higher) class then any of the other recomendations listed.
This is a partial list of IBX customers that have selected Equinix for their core Internet infrastructure requirements. Through the company's IBX centers, customers can directly interconnect with the providers that serve over 90% of the world's Internet networks and users for their critical peering, transit and traffic exchange requirements.
AAPT, Adelphia, Ameritech, Asia Global Crossing, AT&T, Big Pipe (Shaw Fiber), BT, China Telecom, Chunghwa Telecom (TWGate), Cogent Communications, Comcast, Cox Communications, DACOM America, Deutsche Telekom, Eart*****, France Telecom, Genuity, Global Crossing, IIJ America, Internap, Japan Telecom, KDDI America, Level 3, Looking Glass Networks, MCI, MFN, MSN, Pacific Bell, OnFiber, Optus, Qwest, Reach Services, SAVVIS, SBC, SingTel, Sprint, ST Teleport, TeliaSonera, Telstra, Telus, Tiscali, UUNET, Verio, Verizon, Wiltel, XO Communications, Yipes, Global Enterprises,
Service Providers, and Content Companies:
About.com, Adobe, Accenture, Akamai, Aleron, America Online, Carpathia Hosting, DoubleClick, Electronic Arts, General Electric, Google, Hines, Hotwire, IBM, Kontiki, Kyocera, Loral Cyberstar, Micron Technology, Nortel / Kidz Online, PayPal, Radio Free Virgin, Royal & Sun Alliance, Server Central, Sony Online Entertainment, Washingtonpost Newsweek Interactive, WeatherBug, ®WV Fiber LLC, Yahoo!
Notice a slight difference in the class of customers they highlight... as opposed to the other's listed here who are more "reseller hosting" oriented?0

Best kept secret in the industry is Peak10 (http://www.peak10.com) in my opinion. We left NAC to move in there and haven't regretted it once.

I currently use Synergyblue.com and they have been great. I think the owner of GNAX also owns the TranxGlobal or w/e, so you might wanna go with them.

but given the alternative of a nice flashy site and poor post sale support - I think everyone would take the good support and bad signup process. we should have both done well shortly.0

Well it looks like we may go with Dedicated Now :-)
They seem to offer great servers on an outstanding network.
You may want to check them out as well.0

Gnax/Tranxacglobal.com the best of the bunch.
Small enough to give personal attention big enough to stick around.
I have 4 racks full of servers there and they never let me down, I know all the techs by name and get help anytime day or night.
The networkis rock solid, the billing dept is top notch, the support again is great.
You can find a lot mega data centers with big name clients but how do you think you will rate when your server has a problem compared to IBM's? For myself, the data center that has personal service wins hands down and Gnax/tranxact delivers that.0
