    Question Bad Experience with SurfSpeedy

    I have been here for a while and I just started my reselling
    account with another hosting company
    But I have to go with SurfSpeedy for some reason,
    I am not very willing to do it since I have seen some negative
    comments on them.

    SO, here's how I got started today.
    I registered 12hours ago, and then after 10 minutes,
    Email about account info came and I log into FTP and CP
    smoothly.
    I thought SurfSpeedy is not that bad as others said,
    But this thought ended just 1 hour ago...

    I was out for dinner and when I was back I found I've got
    a missed call, from an unknown number.
    I did not take it seriously untill suddenly I found that I could
    no longer get into the FTP and CP.
    This situation reminds me that the Missed Call might be from
    SufrSpeedy, as I have heard that call confirmation would be carried out due to security reason.
    I can totally understand that so I guess my site might be suspended till I get the phone confirmation again.

    But then, here comes the worst part:
    when I tried to access my site to prove my assumption,
    it turned out to be

    There is no website configured at this address.

    My site was totally deleted!!!.
    I can't believe it ! Missing a phone call cost me so much!
    I don't have much really valueable but I have spent 5 hours
    on a page but I don't even have a backup on my PC!
    It's my fault to miss the call, I admit, but do I have to 24hour standby to wait for that confirmation call?

    and then, I tried to contact the livechat,
    but none is available, sales/support/billing...
    what I get is only
    Please wait for a site operator to respond.

    I am totally depressed.. tired..

    Maybe you are right, never ask for more than what you have paid
    really a good lesson for me.
    This $7.95 really worth it

    surfspeedy is horrible for customer service. Add to that there support is garbage. I spent over 45 minutes waiting on the phone to get problems I was having sorted out. I finally gave in an hung up as it was costing me $.07/min.

    Potential customers beware of the $4.95 offers they have. As you'll find your site is constantly down or missing databases.

    Because of there incompetance i've lost countless customers and money. I will NEVER use surfspeedy again and would NEVER reccomend this worthless excuse for hosting.

    wow, I am really sorry to hear that you had such a terrible experience. I have heard many bad things about them. Can't say I have ever experienced it though. It is always best to do your research and trust it before making a decision.

    You would think they would confirm with a call before they activate your account....

    Do you host a porno site sober? If not you may want to change that from CUM to COME
