how can I know who send spam on my server


Hi,
I think one of my consumers is sending spam using my server
how can i catch him ?
I have WHM/cpanel control panel
plz help me
i check Email -> View Relayers and i found the nobody user has sent alot of emails
how can i catch this bad guy

you should recompile apache with phpsuexec support.

this will tell you who it is... it will send the email as user rather than nobody.

it on the left, under software. Update Apache.

Load the previous config, and there is a check box for it.

slice16 thank u very much but i think phpsuexec could made some problem with php scripts and u need to (Fix Insecure Permissions (Scripts)) from time to time
but i'll see and thank u again

hi,
I catch that bad guy and i suspend his account and i am thinking of terminating it because he send today more than 60000 email

So how did you catch him? Did you use the script from WebHostGear or what?

And another easy was to catch the spammer is by enabling the exim extended logging feature...
