Power VPS order processing

Placed an order about 1.5 hrs ago for a VPS on PowerVPS, but havan't heard anything from them except an email as a payement receipt. Is this common? How long normally I should wait?

People complaining about an hour and a half activation time, what's next ? From what I've heard, it's not common but it's fairly late right now. I'm sure you'll be activated soon.

I wasn't complaining, just asking if it is common.

As a background information I'm from Indonesia, and I've had experience my order rejected or even ignored because of that. Now I host my site in Dinix and it has been down for 92 hrs, yes, four days. So I ordered a new account so that when my site finally up I will move to the new server immediately.

I just want to make sure that my order is not being ignored. If it is, then I have to place order to another host, immediately

PowerVPS / Defender setup my account in 4hrs. Well I got login info in 2hrs but Directadmin License took an extra 2hrs. I ordered mine on a tuesday. Its easter weekend here in the US, Sales team must be gone til monday or tuesday.

Got phone call from someone at PowerVPS just before I went out for lunch half an hour ago. This is the first time someone really called me verifying my order. Then after I return, the set up e-mail from PowerVPS is already in my computer.

Impressive.

Yes, they will verify your order now before they will setup the account.

So far so good, account active, dns set, now I'm only waiting for my vps at dinix to be active so that I can move all my data to PowerVPS

I haven't really gotten any response from them about some business we'd like to do with them and it's been a couple of days now!

May be because it's easter holiday, so their business manager or whatever are not in.

My order were set in about two hours, and the support ticket replied within minutes.

BTW Roj, I'm thinking about getting a reseller account from you, and use it as secondary name server, and for back up. Is it possible?

Of course, just enter the name servers you want to have set up during the ordering process and it'll be done for you.

Ciao for now!

Great. Now I don't have much experience with this, so I don't know how difficult it is. If I have any difficulty during the process, can you help me?

I have been with PowerVPS for about 6 months and they have been really helpful to me.

I think you have made a good choice and hopefully they will look after you too!

Defender/PowerVPS has awesome support, they answer tickets within 10mins even in the middle of the night ;] Tom, Charles, and Athira are great. I never had support as good as this before. Always above and beyond what I expect. Anyways which host server are you on? I'm on number 12, Dual Opteron 250 ;D
