Exim DEAD! please Help ( CPANEL SERVER)

After last night My exim went dead When i try to reset it via WHM i get the following error:

when I login with SSH I get:

When I run service exim status I get:

exim dead but subsys locked

I looked At the last exim_mainlog and it had this message:

2005-03-26 11:14:02 Exim configuration error:
malformed log_selector setting: + or - expected but found "local_from_check = true"

I´ve tried :

/scripts/exim4
/scripts/fixeverything
/scripts/upcp

/scripts/exim4 --latest

try to reset exim to original config and still doesnot work

I´ve copied a backup file that i had to exim.conf and no help.

I´ve resbooted the server

Also upgraded whm to Ver 10.0.0 R-149

The permissions are correct

They are:

0 -rw-r----- 1 mailnull mail 0 Mar 26 12:45 exim_mainlog
0 -rw-r----- 1 mailnull mail 0 Mar 26 12:45 exim_paniclog
0 -rw-r----- 1 mailnull mail 0 Mar 26 12:46 exim_rejectlog

I cleared the files with : cp /dev/null to see if it will log errors when I try to reload exim.

Also did:

su mailman

cd /var/log

And got a:
bash: cd: /var/log: Permission denied

and:

tail -20 /var/log/exim_mainlog
tail: /var/log/exim_mainlog : Permission denied


I did a:


/scripts/fixmailman and then /scripts/reinstallmailman

still same problem

Please Any Help will be appreciated, I´m running out of options

try:

chmod 755 /var
chmod 755 /var/log

I'm not sure what user Exim runs as under RedHat/cPanel, but you may need to change ownership on the logs as well.

Now I have to find why the permissions got changed in the first place.

Hey Guys check var/spool/input size and /var/log/exim-mainlog
empty the main log (cp /dev/null exim-mainlog)
and remove que.....
