Please review rateage.com

I just started this site about two weeks ago and is still in it's beta testing fazes. I need some feedback and suggestions. I have implemented dual voting options wich only can be found on this site from my knowledge. You can guess the persons age and there hottness all in one vote. The website i would like reviewed is www.rateage.com

I would also like to know the current and potential value of my site.

i like the idea, design can be improved by adding header and arranging the contents properly with images/bgs/navigation bars.

marsian

The age idea is reallu good. However, the design. First of all, you need a better logo.

Yes i agree about the logo thing 100% One of my major issues with the site is getting people to add there picture. Any suggestions on getting people to do that?

Interesting concept. I hope your site grows. Have you considered giving something nice to those with a high rating? Something simple: like showing their pictures on the main page (which may in turn attract more people).

Yes i have thought about it. I would need to program it into the site. I think i will do something like that in the future. What sites do you recommend me advertising on?

Hi there,

You got a nice rating system. I think a nice header with a real logo would make a big difference. Now the logo is just some text .

Does it do that for you on explorer? I only have like 6 members right now so that might be causing the problem.

I was playing with it for a while, looked at how many members there are, :c) programmer side came out while reviewing it. It seems to just randomly pick its users to display, so the odds of getting the same one are good with only 6. I got the same person about 10 times in a row once, so just seems as if they're needs to be more members.

Anywho, I like the fact that you have the option for age. I think that actully was sorta fun trying to guess the ages. Logo as the others have said, needs a little help. Getting a logo from like Template Monster or even free from the web design lib they have would be better. Or even if you just type the name without that strange font.
