Any Kualo Web Hosting clients here?
Hey guys and gals. One of my hosting accounts with another provider is having bandwidth issues so I need to upgrade but found a better plan with a competitor, Kualo.
Aside from seeing a more active support forum, I believe they would be a safe choice with a plan (Super Plan) that fits my buget and needs.
Are there any existing or former Kualo clients here on WHT and if so, what can you tell me about them to convince me to make the final move?

Naz.A - Posting customer testimonials that the company publishes, tells you almost nothing about the company itself. No matter what, company published testimonials are going to be in a strong bias towards the company.

I know that and so does everybody else thats why you have to do your homework  , just Jumping in can prove costly!

Just noticed that Kualo limits it MySQL database size to 10% of the total disk space allocation of each of their shared web hosting plans. Hmmmm.

Hi,
I have been with Kualo for a few months now and have mixed feelings about them. While they are generally prompt in responding to problems, often they are unable to provide any solutions. Trouble tickets get closed and marked 'Resolved', without there being any satisfactory resolution. At least one of their support staff is extremely confrontational, though one of the owners (Jo, who sometimes lurks at WHT) has been quite supportive in the past.

I'm sorry that you feel this way, although I would like to clarify that only one helpdesk ticket was closed, as we truly believed that the issue was resolved at the time. I have looked through your short ticket history, and this has not occurred in the past.

I started my hosting life off with a reseller account from them. Excellent service in all areas. Never had a problem with the staff response on the helpdesk and they have always been helpful.
I don't think you will find many better hosts to be honest.

As a web designer, I've been referring clients to Kualo for about a year, and everyone has been happy with them. In dealing with them myself, I've never seen faster or better service (I had been a reseller with 3 other disaster hosts in the past).
I think they're the worlds' best kept secret - I wish I had found them years ago. They'll even move your site(s) for you! (I think there's a limit to how many per account, not sure there).
I can assure you, their customers really are as happy as the testimonials. I've only ever seen one gripe on their community boards, and that one seemed to just be a spammer.
And no, I'm not on commission... lol... they really do impress me!

I just come across this thread! Well, from my experience I've been powered by Kualo for a few months now. Remarkable support. No issues with closed tickets and believe me, some of the tickets I opened spanned pages and pages.
One key advantage about Kualo hosting which impressed me is their uptime and reliability, its a host you can truely grow with
I've been from host to host, they all start good then degrade so fast. However, Kualo has been online for 4 years now and they seem to still have the magic.
