The just announced on the local news during a news conference by the Homasassa police department.
John Couey admited after a poligraph test, telling them that he knows what the rest results were, and that he was sorry for wasting your time... and he admited that he abducted her, and then later took her life!

I would've drove up there and helped search, if it wasn't an hour and a half drive from here (when you're limited on how much money you can spend on gas - it doesn't help).
That poor baby! So very sad!
I was hoping that maybe her mom took her - just to have her again...

This is why I support the death penalty in cases like that. I'll never understand what drives people to be sexually attracted to kids, just sick!.

Very sad...I do think the bastard should get death penalty, but I doubt it'll change anything for the parents.

All I can say, he's downtown in the high rise hotel for criminals. Why he chose to come here and walk all the way to the Salvation Army center to sleep, is what puzzles me. The bus terminal and SA aren't next to each other, have to do some exploring to get there.
I just hope he didn't touch any of the kids in the shelter.

He needs his male member shoved into a meat grinder and then salted before anything happens to him. Im not trying to be funny, I am dead serious.
There is no sense whatsoever for any need for someone to kidnap a little girl like that. Its almost as if he had no problem doing it, just tearing the family apart. My condolences go out to the family.
