Looking for a VPS provider
Hello Folks,
I am looking for a VPS provider that offers the following features:
- SiteBuilder (or any software to help clients build sites)
- CPanel and WHM
- Fantastico
- Chillisoft ASP
- Image Magick
- Flash/HTML Templates
- rsync
and of course the usual features like MySQL, Perl/PHP/CGI/Python, etc.
My budget is $40 or less a month.
Do you have any recommendations? Pls help.
Thanks,
Marl
ps. WHT rocks!

You might want to check the VPS Forum and the VPS offers forum. Also try a host quote.

Why is it always the premium members, whom have access to host quote, that end up recommending it?
Isn't this against WHT rules?

Not all Premium members have access to host quote.

I think it was decided that this wasn't against the rules..but I can see why it might should be.

Yep.
I don't see how recommending someone to get a sudden influx of VPS pricing will allow them to make an educated decision on whom to choose. If they just want pricing they can visit the special offers forum. Neither of these methods allow the customer to evaluate the quality of the host, however.

First - I don't have access to Host Quote - Had it at one time but it was useless. Keeping premium membership for better ad pricing.
Second - I don't own a hosting company that offers VPS.

IMO HostQuote is rubbish anyway, and a large number of people have been spammed through usage of it too (well that's the way it seems anyway).

It wasn't that their were no leads, it was just the fact that anyone who filled it out wanted a lot of space and bandwidth for far to little and it became pointless.

Never seen it from the other side, I assumed that would be the way it is though.
Not surprising really, lots of people want lots of space and bandwidth because it looks nice. They hardly use it anyway ...
