I'm getting 22kb/s on my port which is supposedly 5mbit. So yes there does appear to be issues.
That's why I'd never use FDC for mainstream hosting, got a box there to test, and to be honest I'm not that impressed.

I've not been having many issues with speed, been able to burst it up when needed I might be one of the lucky few though, heh.
Which side are you on? I'm on the IRC side and it's been great.

I have also heard the same thing from a friend who made an inquiry about the speeds. I did a test from sago to fdc (sharktech located within the fdc network) and it topped off at around 33KBps going outbound from sharktech/fdc and incoming from sagonet it pulled around 600KBps so definitely some slow down there.
Good news: they know about it
Bad news: no eta on when it specifically going to be fixed (this week could mean they get pushed back again, tends to happen alot with gige installs it seems).

of course. but lets look at it this way... can 5 different servers from different datacenters/backbones get the same results? probably very unlikely that all 5 servers have issues

6kB/s - shaking head. Seems like nothing has changed there.

Traceroute won't show much unless their network is completely maxed, which is unlikely as they must have some overhead free.

My box got 5kbs when I did it this afternoon. I dont think I will keep using them as a host. I wont use again for mission critical hosting.
