Sw-Soft Sales Non Existant?

Hi,

Wondering if anyone knows how I can get hold of Virtuozzo licences, over the past 3 weeks I've sent 6 e-mails/messages via web forms from their website, etc and haven't had a single reply since.

Really makes you wonder how they can be selling anything, if anyone knows of resellers, or if you are a reseller please post/PM me.

Thanks,

Dan

I think they have phone numbers somewhere on the site. Weird coz I contacted SW Soft for few trials and some modification questions and they have always been very prompt. My best bet is - request a virtuozzo demo from their site - a salesperson will contact you asap

I guess your launch won't be at first of march then?

Strange. I sent a single e-mail and got a response the next day. Since then they have called me every day on the phone.

I usually get a response within 24 hours from my sales rep. I prefer to go direct rather than through a reseller. No offense to any of the resellers....just a personal preference.

Thanks Matt, got the PM.

I too find it odd, I thought it may have been that my e-mail had been blocked, so I also tried the forms on the website, and still got no response.

Basically what I can still recall is that, it goes by VEs license. How many VEs you require, and it also count by CPU.

There are also
1. Virtuozzo Management Console (VZMC)
2. Virtuozzo Power Panels (VZPP)
3. Virtuozzo Control Center (VZCC)

additional OS template for Linux - Debian & SuSE 8

SW-Soft sales are hungry sales ... even when you are old customers they will still go after you to sell some additional licenses. So I am not sure why nobody is answering you. Perhaps their web form is broken. Try emailing sales@sw-soft.com.

sw-soft...not good.

Hi!
My experience with them was not good. Not only did I call...and get put on eter-a-hold(tm)...I've emailed several times as well. i will not try to contact them again. I've had no problems dealing with resellers.

The resellers were just like how FHDave described the SW-SOFT sales department to be

Must admit when I contacted them last year for info on HSPcomplete they continued to email me several months after attempting to gain a sale. I didn't like their pricing policy though to be honest.

Or maybe your spam filter blocked out their replies.

When I requested some trial on their website, their sales rep nearly flooded me with advertising stuff - I was close to start pressing them for spam. Really odd that they don't want to respond to an active customer.

Is Virtuozzo licence transferable? I mean if you dont want to use it later down the track. Can you sell the licence?

Vz licenses are tied to the origional hardware that you install on. I would be very suprised if Sw-Soft would re-issue you a license for new hardware.
