clientexec vs. quickbooks

with regards to billing, what are the advantages of using online billing systems such as clientexec and modern bill over say a program like quick books that is installed on my computer?

thanks guys

On-line system is going to automate the signup / customer creation / hosting account creation.

Something like Quickbooks is going to produce your tax reports, record you salary, expenses etc... but will need to have the customer data captured and manually entered (unless you write a database extraction process)

Ideally you want a combination of both.

Use both . Online billing programs will let your clients see all of their statements and keep track of payments online, while QuickBooks will let you control all of your finances, and make it easy for you during tax time.

It's better to use Online Billing System, since if you mobile. And if your offline billing system support sync to your online, that you can use both of them.

ClientExec is more suited to the business, however if you're doing a lot of business you will need to print off professional looking accounts, and that's where the likes of QuickBooks comes in.

Man, I have to say I wish there was a better solution. I just did my taxes and going between ClientExec, Quickbooks and TurboTax was a royal pain. Didn't help that this year TurboTax decided not to allow my QB2001 to import in, either. But this year it just seemed more brutal than years past. Wish there was a quicker or more efficient way!
