What VPS provider would you guys recommend that are extremely cheap?

Planning to use this VPS to run a very small IRCd and also a FPS game server.

The thing is, since it's not for doing business, but rather just for fun, I'd only be willing to spend a maximum of $20/mo for it.

I doubt you can get much of anything (to run fps game) on a $20 vps

Linode. Though there's no chance of getting any FPS game server to run acceptably (or perhaps at all...) on one that cheap. They'd probably frown upon it as well.

I agree with error404. I do not think you will get VPS for $20/month to run small Ircd and FPS game server. The price is too cheap.

Just as long as the average player pings 60ms, it should be fine.

Only need about 50GB of bandwidth per month for the game.

IRC and Gaming do not mix. Networks that allow IRC are not going to give proper performance to make use of a gaming server as well. You should get a gaming server then get a small irc account elsewhere.
