Need to prepend a html/php file to all sites. Paying job.

Before you get too excited with dreams of easy money, I've already tried the .htaccess method of prepending and the mod_layout method. Both methods throw errors about headers already sent, or session start problems.

The problem is with prepending html or php files to things like phpBB, Mambo, Drupal, etc. I've looked high and low for a way to do this which does not cause errors, but to no avail. If anyone holds the secret, or thinks they can create something that will work, shoot me a PM. Thank you.

There's a setting in php that turns on buffering, preventing most "headers already sent" problems. But you may not have access to php.ini or whatever.

Already tried something like that and it worked with suppressing the error messages, but phpBB's admin area doesn't work then. I never would have thought something like this would be so difficult to get working.

Did you use the Cpanel file manager to edit the files? If so, I may know the problems..
