Change

I was just looking around my room a few minutes ago, and I found at least $5.50 in nickes, dimes, quarters, and pennies.

So how much money in change do you think you have lying around?

I have a 5 gallon jug I fill with all of my change, me and the wife have been doing it for about 5 years and its about 1/4 full.. I would imagine there will be a few thousand in change when it finally fills up 20 years down the road.

We have this big plastic Budweiser bottle... its huge, about 2 1/2-3 feet tall. We all dump our change in it. Of course, the kids steal the quarters for games and pool at the local pizza place...

We bagged up all our change about 10 months ago and i couldnt believe how much we had... almost $300 worth! It was a pleasant surprise.

I have a few pringles tubes on my desk right now full of silver, I dont carry anything less than £1 in change, so it all goes into the containers.

I'd say there is about £70 in there at the moment(5 weeks since last emptied)

My reocrd was about a hundred bucks...

I have a five gallon bucket ... usually empty it about once a year. By the end of the year, it's pretty full, and generally ends up being a few hundred dollars. It's a nice little addition to my tax refund check.

The change that we have in the house is mostly pennies -- other than that, we use it all up (every little nickel, dime, quarter helps ).

Half the times, the pennies tend to be thrown on the floor (my 5 year old is obsessed with emptying the piggy bank (litterally). On a normal given day, you'll find at least 20 pennies on the floor (even in the bathroom, I've found them). It never fails.

Most of the time I never have change because I keep a "change tin" in my car and I bring it in with me to places so that I don't get change back. Also works good to buy stamps.

I put my change in jar and whenever we go on vacation, have an extra $50 - $100 to blow
