I am not sure which forum section to post this on, so I will post it here.

I am on a cable connection, which has dynamic ip.
I am currently using a "Dynamic IP Addressing" software to redirect me to pavs.myvnc.com . I own this domain pavs.org and I want to use this instead of pavs.myvnc.com .

How do I do it?

My domain is registered through namecheap.com I believe it is possible to do it through the webpage, but I don't know how to do it.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks guys. I just went through the whole process, registered and installed everything; now I have to wait 3 days, according to zoneedit, for things to update.

in the dns zone of your pavs.org

just add the entry

www.pavs.org IN CNAME pavs.myvnc.com

for other users who wants free domain for their dsl

Canonical NAME

Its an alias

www.pavs.com is a cname of pavs.myvnc.com - Look up the IP address at pavs.myvnc.com to talk with it.

My site is hugely cnamed with itself (All over the DNS - Makes server tracking easier for me )
