Im Having the same problem with Midphase

I have had an ongoing problem since december in which I was charged twice in the same month. It had taken until feb 3 to get them to find the problem and promise a refund. after the alotted time by 3 days in which midphase said they would refund my money had expired I posted again to my support ticket saying I never recieved my refund. I got a response the next day saying they have a note saying I got it in December. Which on Feb 3rd they said they see where I didn't and would refund it within 10 business days. So I posted back and told them I have seen my statements and nothing has been refunded. I have yet to hear back from them on this matter. Their Mistake and yet I am having to do all the work to correct this. I felt I should be compensated some how and they choose to dodge that question let alone refund my money. I have referred 2 others to them and dont think I would reccommend anyone else after these recent problems. What Can I do as a customer

If its a certain overcharge and they are not correcting it then you can contact your card issuer and start a chargeback to retrieve your money.

Chargeback = last resort.

Run....Run....Very fast away from them... lol

I will be canceling my account with them in the next week or so... once my server is ready.

I will be doing a log of events here on how it goes - I will be truthful about it too

Be advised that Midphase seems to have a policy of submitting accounts that issue chargebacks immediately to collections. See http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showth...hreadid=376856 for details.

If this happens to you, search online for "Fair Debt Collection Practices Act" and read section 808. What they're doing might fall under the FDCPA, in which case if they send your account to collections, they could find themselves in deep doo-doo.

Please email me at zboca@midphase.com with your ticket number, and I'll look into this.

Thanks

I emailed two days ago, but got billed again today. I give up, even if they send me to collection as y'all say they'll eventually do.

Is ti just me or does midphase seem to be making a lot of billingmistakes lately?

if worst comes to worst you can always use a chargeback, but as mentioned above its probabbly a last resort. Do they list a phone number on their website? Perhaps giving them a call would help straighten things out.
