Data Center LExington Kentucky

Does anyone know any datacenters in or around Lexington Kentucky. I am looking for a Job and currently figured that would be the best place to start.

I know that qx.net has one as well as mikrotec.com.
I think IBM may have one in lexington also, but I am not sure on this.

You could also check out Lexmark, UK and Yum as I would think they all have datacenters for their own operations.

The only "public" DC I know of in KY is Bluegrass.net's which is in Radcliff I believe. But, Yum, Pepsi, etc, would probably have their own like bit42 said.

Just FYI... in my particular region (Sacramento) there are 4 or 5 "public" DCs and only one of them is ever hiring and that is only because they offer on-site managed services. The others might hire once a year if you're lucky.

Most DCs use a skeleton crew, if that. Many are administered remotely with only the occasional on-site visitor.

In other words, looking for DCs for work is probably the WORST place to start.

You're better off looking for corporations/businesses hiring IT talent than data centers. Most are cold, windowless, and vacant of people.
