lol I noticed, but it says sold out. Also, although I do mean those kinds, it's still kind of limited...when I say custom I mean define what you want without limitation (within reason).

i would suggest you to get up a low-end server and load up a VPS tool like Virtuozzo. you can have the total flexibility by then.

Most companies will do custom quotes. Email sales@ and see what they say

hostingonnet.com providers customized VPS, but I have never tried them, so can not advise anything.
I do always stick to reputable companies.

Well, Brannix, that's a good idea but I heard that buying a VPS is better than a low end server...I have also heard the antithesis. Kinda confused about that..

I believe tektronic.net used to have a complete custom configurator (though I can't find it now). You may want to ping them with your reqs.

Klarth: It depends on the VPS. For example, our $100 VPS plan has significantly less server power than a $100 dedicated from EV1. 1/3rd the RAM and HDD primarily.
I can't think of any hosts that wouldn't customize a VPS for you, it is just a matter of setting you up with custom specs in the VPS system of our choice and the billing system.

Hm, I see...but isn't a 100$ VPS a low end server (including all software like cPanel, etc)?

two things:
first, typo in my last post. I meant "tektonic.net". sorry!
second, not all providers WILL do custom setups -- you'd have to contact your top few choices. I know a few providers use a completely fixed set of VPS configs as they can maintain MUCH better control over the server and overall performance/quality.
